Buying a new Toyota

Topic starter

My daughter has owned aHyundai Sonata for 10 years! I feel sorry for her because it has not been a reliable car for her. I want to help her buy a Reliable and Safe vehicle! Her top picks I believe would be a Toyota RAV4 or a Toyota Corolla Cross. We are thinking a new 2025. I would like to avoid buying a model that is in the first year of a major redesign though. I prefer non-hybrid. A similar Honda would also be worth looking at. Any advice or suggestions?

wikipedia does a good shop of explaining each design generation and year to year changes.

Give the Corolla Cross a shot. An AWD LE with JBL audio runs under $31K. It's a lot of car for the money and comes with Toyota's reputation for excellent reliability.

@anthony-zingale Sister in law bought a new Cross a couple years ago, she loves it.
