I have a 2015 GMC 2500hd with 145,000 miles and the valves on the driver's side is making noise. After driving the noise goes away.

Generally, that means hydraulic lift is a worn out, but you could flush the system out with an engine flush then change the oil filter and sometimes that fixes it
