Hey Scotty, I own a silver 2008 Jeep Patriot Sport. It now has 117k miles. I've had it since February of 2021. Bought it for $8,000 with 101k miles. It has been a reliable vehicle up until a month ago. Almost everyday I drive the Jeep and it jumps while driving. Then after that I can barely make it to 20 mph, even if I floor it. There's also an unbearable smell of gas that permeates the Jeep. I was told it's best to replace the entire fuel line. What do you think I should do?

Check for leaks in the exhaust.
Also, do you have any check engine light?
The rpm does go up when I floor it. Yet I can only go max 20 mph. I checked for leaks, there's none. And yes the check engine light is on. It fluctuates from being steady to blinking on and off.
