Truck key hole empty from attempted break in. Was unlocking with fob. Window wouldn't roll up. Friend got window to work then door locked. No slide lock works or fob from inside or out. How to get door open to take off inside cover to see whats going on.Please help locksmith wont.
Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately the fob is working. Really dont want to cut up door panel hope to not have to take out seat. Does anyone have another idea? Desperate only working car . Hard to climb over center console. I was hoping to some how get something down window slot to open it to take off door panel.Exterior door handle loose . I think in second attempt to be stolen.If roll window down access to interior mechanism is blocked. Thanks for anymore ideas and one that were given.
remove the seat and pop the door panel off
the seat is only held on by 4 nuts, and the door panel will be a few clips and screws. You don't have to cut anything.
If you are saying that the only way to unlock the door before your window was fixed was to use a fob, and now even the fob doesn't work, I'd pray that the fob battery just happened to die at the same time the window was fixed. It's one in a million, but what the heck, try it. Otherwise, I think you will have to cut into your interior door panel and replace it with one from a junk yard. Bummer.
