I have a 2014 Audi A4 with 132,000 miles. I’ve been topping off with a quart of oil every couple hundred miles, what causes this and what is the best way to fix it? I’ve heard some say to replace the PCV VALVE or to use Liqui-Moly oil, and a mann oil filter. Some even recommended an oil catch can, heck even replacing the entire engine!!

Get a compression test to see if your rings are worn out. Replacing the PCV valve is easy and cheap. It might help.

Engine may well be worn out but changing the PCV valve is certainly worth trying.
