What can be done to make a old steering wheel smooth going over 70 MPH on the highway?

This applies to many cars out there

Are you trying to tell us that your steering wheel shakes?

Make sure tires are inflated to the pressure on your door sticker. All around.

Make sure suspension components are in good shape.

Get your tires balanced.

Get a 4 wheel alignment.

Hey Joe, Squirrel alert.

Excellent!.

It does not shake, but isn't completely new like I've seen a 2013 Lexus Es350 before when cruising infinite speed.

At 227000 miles how "new" could you possibly expect? That's quite a few miles.

The steering wheel has a slight vibration feeling when cruising over 70.

Try swapping your front tyres to the back and vice-versa, and check if the steering continues to shake/reduces/worsens.

Those two things have been done recently by the big man who's gone now

I was thinking the CV axles rotors, bearings, or rack and pinion might be it
