Make, model, etc. don't apply. What do you recommend for coating car battery posts to prevent corrosion. NOCO has a product called NCP2 and CRC also makes a product. I've also seen some posts online that suggest Vaseline works just as well. Scotty, thanks for sharing your years of experience with us.

I've always had batteries with side-mounted terminals, and they don't corrode.
Di-electric grease should work well.
+1 for dielectric grease

I coat them with wheel bearing grease.

I use good old Vaseline. Clean posts and terminals, add some vaseline at the bottom of the post, put on the terminal and then coat the terminal with a thin layer of vaseline.
