Hi I have a engine light for cylinder 6 misfire. Only happens is vehicles idling. Driving under load nothing shows up or is abnormal. I have change spark plugs as well as coils and spark plug harness. Can a fault injector cause a misfire? Also trying to make EVAP and CAT monitors to be ready. I’m driving around following with driving at 55mph and coasting like some other forms have indicated. But was wondering if you know a way for my vehicle to get those monitors ready. If only it is one to pass inspection. Also with the engine light being on the misfire monitor still states it ready.
Sure a faulty injector can cause that but so can faulty ignition worn valves one piston rings leak on the intake manifold at that number 6 lots of stuff

The cylinder 6 misfire could be a lot of things. I would first swap out an ignition coil with another cylinder and see if it changes. If not, I would next suspect a bad fuel injector, either dirty and cleanable or replaceable. Check the spark plug, the easiest to check, for age and wear and excessive gap. Spark plugs never seem to last as long as they are advertised to.
I have change the spark plugs change all the coils and change the spark plug wires as well. Have yet to change fuel injector. Such a headache ❓
