I have a 2013 Honda Accord, today I washed my car and wiped it while the radio was on but after that my car didn't start and I had to jump-start it. So I took it to super tune to check the battery they gave me a report saying excessive ripple and told me to change the alternator. so is it my battery or alternator?

that'll happen when you leave things turned on
I took it to super tune
what's super tune?

Alternators generate AC or Alternating Current (which means rippling). The alternating current get rectified (smoothed) to DC (Direct Current) which is what your car needs. They are not perfect. There's always a little big of ripple left over. Does the report tell you the peak-to-peak voltage of the ripple? I wouldn't take them too seriously if you have no symptoms.
I have no battery lights on my dash.
then leave it. Just make sure you don't leave your accessories running. Your battery wasn't made for that.
The auto store checked the battery with their machine it said failed battery test and excessive ripple, they did not tell anything else. and told me to change the alternator with the battery.
The auto store checked the battery
