Hey y'all, and Scotty, if you're reading this. I bought a 2001 Toyota Camry CE back in July this year with 83k miles on it. I bought it from someone from my church for a really great deal of $500. The only problem I have with the car since I've bought it is a humming in the rear of the car whenever it goes over 57 mph, I have had the tires balanced and the tires are brand new yet the humming still occurs. It's of course a FWD, it's a Camry it's in perfect condition except for the humming.
Put the back tires to the front and see what happens.
Sounds like rear wheel bearings.
I had the same thought. I would do what Yaser said first though, as it is easy and cheap to see if the noise follows the tire.
Me too.
If swapping the tyres doesn’t produce any results, then isolate the affected wheel bearing/s -
