My 2010 KIA 1.4 L hatchback was making a humming noise from the rear right tire. At first I thought it was a wheel bearing but my mechanic said I needed an alignment and just looking at the tire, I could tell it was "off-center." After the 4 wheel alignment the wheel looked OK. After driving it home from the shop I still hear the humming. Will this go away or is there still something wrong? Many Thanks to anyone who can help.
Well realize this, if it was off now the tire is going to be worn and it will keep making noise because the tire is worn out. So take that tire, move it in the front and move the front one in the back. If the noise moves to the front then replace that tire. If the noise stays then the guy didn't really fix the problem
@scottykilmer Thanks for your advice. I just remembered my mechanic commenting that there was something wrong with the muffler. We replaced it 3 months ago. Maybe a loosen bracket causes the humming? The warranty is 2 years so my next trip is to the muffler shop. Thanks again for your help 😀
