Help my Lexus 2012 RX 450 H is throwing an error code that indicates the hybrid system battery is bad before I take the plunge and make the repair is that are there other things I should check first to be sure it’s not a mistaken code, for example that fans or something in the fuse box. I just worry mechanics are too anxious to jump on whatever the code throws and it won’t cure the problem I put a new 12 V battery in less than a year ago so that battery still seems to check out good. Please direct me to any videos you have or tips and tricks to get that check hybrid system off if the battery needs to be replaced I just want to turn the car into a dealership.

I'm not a hybrid expert (and it's probably difficult to find those). But I would be very surprised if the vehicles computer didn't track the hybrid battery state-of-health (SOH) internally. Most likely, it is measuring how many watt-hours are used from full charge to empty.

A proper OBD diagnostic tool will be able read this data from the computer.
I just want to turn the car into a dealership.
That would be the last place I want to take my car for troubleshooting, but if the hybrid battery needs replacing then that may the best, or only choice.
