- In 2023, giving Mark up price ( approx USD 5K-6K on hybrid ) looks mandatory, do we need to shift back to gas car like Mazda or Ford or Chevrolet? Plz do suggest which trim. Thank you very much

The allure of a hybrid is the gas savings. But if there is a significant markup compared to a regular gas variant of the same or comparable car, and that markup basically cancels out the gas savings, it makes no sense to get the hybrid.
With that said, if one is getting a hybrid, get a Toyota, maybe a Honda hybrid.
And for regular gas cars, out of the brands you mentioned, get the Mazda. In addition to a regular gas Toyota or Honda.
Thank you.
Which Mazda cx50 trim would be good to look for ?
I’d get the one without the turbo.

So annoying that in 1995 Honda made a civic hatchback that could get 56mpg.

Gas is easier to fix and is overall less complex/more reliable.
