Should I put a hydrogen generator in my truck

I'm a 72yo retired industrial insulator, wrenched for many years, shade tree, learning all the time. That said I was recently given a drawing of a, hydrogen generator. It consists of a gallon jug, a "T" tube that is attached to a tube that rests on the bottom of the jar and penetrates the lid. The "T" is perforated with tiny holes. There is another tube that just penetrates the lid and stops. The other end of this tube connected to the intake manifold. The gallon jug is partially filled with a solution of, 40% hydrogen peroxide, 60% water.

The vehicle, 1997, RAM 1500, 230,000mi 5.9l auto trans.

The idea is that the vacuum draws outside air through the solution via the T configuration creating hydrogen gas and combining with fuel vapor to increase mpg.

So in your educated opinion is this valid or vapid?

It's hard to see any way that would improve gas mileage.

If there was truly something to it, we would have seen a swarm of them already on the road today instead of this EV-craze they are pushing on us.

Vapid, bogus, and probably dangerous.

See our FAQ for ways to improve your fuel economy (that actually work!)
