Hello Mr. K. How are you? Hope you are doing well. I have a question about my dad's car. Its a manual hyundai elantra 2007 with 80k miles, with a 2.0 L engine. A few months ago the clutch pedal started to stiff up. We had a mechanic check the clutch pumps and they were apparently fine. It gets stiffer the longer the car runs. Do you have any suggestions? I am told I might need a new clutch assembly or atleast a new clutch disc. Thank you for your time

well sometimes the master cylinders go bad they're cheap enough for playset but if that doesn't do it I would replace the entire clutch assembly the disc the price you pay to throw a bearing everything because you have to remove the transmission to do that job and there's no sense doing it half-assed

Do you have suggestions on what brand I should buy? I have heard about Luk and Valeo, but can't seem to find any good suggestions online. Thank you.
