2012 Toyota RAV4 AWD 130,000 miles grinding noise in drive

I bought a 2012 Toyota Rav4 sport all wheel drive from the dealer with 130,000 miles 10 months ago. They first gave me the wrong car fax, then got the right one after the purchase.  Minor issues like sold with bad tires, the dealership provided 2 I paid for 2. Last night the car was at a complete stop then I accelerated and it made a noise then stopped. It started grinding in drive so I put it in neutral and parked it. Tow truck guy said it was the axle. The same dealership that I bought it from sia it might be the transmission.  No lights came on and no issues with the transmission were ever experienced.  It would make a light thud sometimes when accelerating. No noises while turning. I noticed it was pulling to the right and was about to have the front end alignment but it didn't make it. Please help me with any issues it could be. {black}:excitement:

ask the dealer how much it's going to be to fix it. Then take it another shop and ask them the same thing.

How long after you bought it did the problems start? Did the vehicle purchase come with a guarantee? (check your paperwork)
