Hi Scotty,
My mother drives a Hyundai Getz 1.6 with the automatic transmission. There’s 168000 kilometres on the odometer. Every week I check the engines fluids and tyre pressures and every week I to have add a lot of distilled water to the overflow container. Acceleration tends to quite sluggish. Could the cylinder head starting to blow or is this normal?

Its either burning in the combustion chamber because the head gasket or its leaking out somewhere. Check under the oil cap for anything frothy or milky. If its got weird frothy stuff in there the head gasket is bad and the oil is mixing in the coolant.
