Hi,
I'm having a transmission problem. The shifting is always stuck on 3rd gear and even on drive the gear always start on 3rd. I had it scan and it is showing a p0890 fault code. I ask my mechanic if he can fix it but he also doesn't know where the TCM power relay circuit is located. I was hoping if you could guide me through locating the TCM power relay. The P0890 code gets thrown when the transmission solenoids aren't getting power..
Your transmission can't shift gears and goes into "Limp Mode".
The place to begin looking for the problem is at the Automatic Transmission Relay.
Yours is in the engine compartment fuse box right there on the upper left, next to the radiator fan relay.
While you're in there check fuse #14 too
