i bought a 2008 Xterra with 158,000 miles and the service engine came on yesterday with code P0430. it means something about catalytic convertor. What do I need to do?
help please

It is an indication that the three way cat isn't working properly. Before replacing the cat, try to find out what is causing the cat to not work properly. It could be something simple like a dirty air filter or something more complex like intake manifold air leaks or leaking fuel injectors. You need an experienced technician to diagnose these issues.
