Scotty,

I found you on YouTube and have subscribed. I was given your name by Bob from the Clark Howard show. I watched your video on the Hybrid and I have a 2009 Toyota Hybrid that has 170,000 miles on it. I’ve owned it less than a year, pay $12,000 for it and have put $2000 into it and now they’re telling me I have to put another $3500 into it! Can you please tell me if you know of any mechanic who can replace the brake actuator and pump for less than $3500 so I can get rid of this piece of crap?!? I live in Alton, Kansas…..Thank you! I highly recommend Omega Auto Clinic in near Wichita, KS.

It’s owned and operated by a guy like Scotty, an honest mechanic that tells it like it is, and gives fair, honest, and transparent pricing.

I don’t know the actual cost for labor and parts for your problem. At the same time, it doesn’t hurt to call ahead. They usually don’t like to give quotes over the phone, they like to see the car first. But maybe if you explain your story, and you heard about him through Scotty Kilmer’s Forum, they might*** be able to give you a ballpark

The guy that owns Omega also has a YouTube, going by CarWizard.

I trust both Scotty and the CarWizard.

P.S. if he is able to fix your car, please ask him to do a YouTube on it. It’s very rare we see a Toyota or Hybrid getting work done at Omega, so it would be great to learn!
