Hi Scotty! I got a new obdii scanner from Amazon for 20.00 cad which i got for 12.00 on sale. Not sure if I should or should not use it and connect it to my car? Here’s the model number and all details

I've seen these cause problems. They make the vehicle computer panic and shut down the data bus. (on top of being unreliable of course).
If the price is too good to be true ... it probably is.
click on the "Tools" link at the top of this page to see some decent OBD scanners. Blue driver is a popular entry level choice.

Ya thats what I was fearing too. Thank God i saw scottys video before I used this device.
