The button on the dash for AC does not light up when pushed. AC does not come on. Blows hot air. I am not sure if it is the switch or why it is not working. Worked great last summer. Any ideas. I won’t to rule out the switch first or is the light not coming telling me something is wrong?.

Check that you have sufficient refrigerant in the system, the low-pressure cutoff switch may be kicking in to protect the compressor. Those typically will shut down the AC system if there is less than about 20 psi.
