I have 2012 3.7 mustang with 123000 miles. The transmission is starting to whine with acceleration. I saw the 2013s had a tsb about the exact issue. Is it possible my car would be affected as well? At low speeds in the stop and go traffic i hear a clunk coming from the bellhousing area. Thank u

Its the 6r80 auto. It changes pitch depending on how much gas u give it. Fluid looked good as well and was full.
That's a good question to ask in the mustang forums. Forums are a good place to get information, especially for a car like the Mustang.
I just bought it in june. Service records dont show any changes
See the site FAQ topic on changing transmission fluid.
Ill try a pan drop and fliter change with some new fluid this weekend. Thanks
How many times have you changed the fluid and filter over 123K miles?

Final got to do a pan drop and filter change. Fluid was pretty bad. The tranny shifts alot smoother. It does still make somw whinning noise at about 50mph. Going to try to syphon the pan again and put more clean fluid back in to help dilute the remaining old fluid more. But it is much better over all.
