but i was driving on the freeway and all of a sudden my car starts to loose acceleration so i pull over and now my car starts but dies instantly and if i push on the gas pedal it dies my husband is out of town and cant help me i dont really have the money to take it to a shop so trying to see if this is something i can do once my car gets here. I know we replaced the fuel pump about 6ish months ago and since then it has died on me and my sister 2 times while at a stop sign and different days but we restarted it and it seemed fine it also has over heated once and i checked coolant and it needed some but not much
Pressure test the fuel pump. Do you have any check engine light?
Will need it scanned for codes. May not be fuel related but cam or crank sensors are not unheard of
