- I love my Eldorado, I've heard bad things about the Northstar engine.
- The car only has 92,000 miles. I want to make it better and keep it.
Help me.

Is there anything wrong with it now?
I would suggest just following the maintenance schedule every 5k miles on it. The Northstar was a powerful engine but to be honest not all that reliable. And when they break, working on them is extremely difficult. So anything you can do as preventative maintenance would be a good idea, i.e. changing the oil on time, etc.

I love them..but the head stud issue is why I haven't bought another.. also,the starter is under the intake..just so you know, for when it eventually wears out
