I have a 2002 Honda CR-V . I recently replaced the evap system - the canister. The check engine light is on, but the codes cannot be read. When the OBD is hooked up, a message comes back that it is unable to connect. The vehicle starts, but the green key light flashes the whole time while driving and the car will not go past 3,000 RPMs. When the engine hits 2,700 - 3,000 RPMs the engine seems to give out. The temperature gauge on the dash is not registering either. Any ideas?

You said you replaced the canister but did you replace the evap control solenoid?
