Hi Scotty.
I have a 2016 Toyota Camry 4 cyl with 79,000 miles. I am having some intermittent trouble with my A/C & Heat Controls working. I’ll start the car and the temperature zones, fan knob, and temperature knob all have no power, whereas the rest of the central unit does (my radio/back up camera/screen etc.) I had a local mechanic check it out, and he said eventually, that central unit may go out, costing as much as $1,000 from Toyota. Of course I could get a used part cheaper, but I wanted to ask you if you’ve seen anything like this? Or if it may be a fuse, etc.? It’s not all the time, but seems to be doing it more frequently.

Check your fuses and particularly, the relays for this system.
