My 2005 Acura MDX was running just fine I turn the engine off and it wouldn’t start again. We replaced you injector release fuel pump spark plugs and coil packs and even checked the chip in the key because Acura has an immobilization system.I has 180,000 miles on it end it acts like it’s starving for fuel. When you spray starting fluid into the intake the engine will crank over and run for long is that fluid less but when you put the key in ignition and try to start the car it will crank over but it won’t start. We’ve also check the fuel pressure at the fuel pump and the engine and it is good. We are stumped please help.
If you press the gas pedal all way while you start the car, does it make the car run?
No but if you spray starter fluid I’m the intake it will run for a bit.
If the fuel pressure is good, then odds are your injectors are bad. Try cleaning them first.
Put a scanner on it and find out what isn't working.
We did but it was no help and now because of the battery being disconnected the codes have been cleared.
