I have a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica Touring just had computer replaced, water pump, motor mounts, and timing belt now car has just started dieing while idling.
Its giving these codes P0172 P0175 P1128 P1129 how can I fix this it.
And basically if you take foot off gas it dies once under 1 rpm
punch your codes into obd-codes.com
then follow the diagnosis/repair instructions.
More info on our FAQ page.
Rich means the engine is getting too much fuel and not enough air.
Did you change your air filter?
Like I said before, follow the "Solutions" on obd-codes.com
Here's that link again: https://www.obd-codes.com/p0172
Can I ask question on here on same topic I'm new to this forum but figuring it out.
Vehicle is 2007 Chrysler Pacifica Touring has almost 150,000 miles. I just had to get new water pump, timing belt, new motor mounts two months ago. Last year I had fuel injectors replaced, and power coils. Now it is running idle until you shift gears it wants to die unless you keep foot on gas. I've gotten several codes: P0172, P0175, P1128, P112. I've looked up codes P0172 and P0175 is rich fuel in bank 1 and other is rich fuel in bank 2. P1128,and P112 is Closed loop fueling not achieved. I know chyrsler sucks but it's family vehicle and only choice I had for my family to be together on trips.
Please help if you can answer what problem is. {black}
Don't post the same question multiple times please. It's in the forum rules. Thank you.
It's not same question. and I never got answer so I fixed my question and gave more info for help ismy that what this forum is for ?
It is the same question. The car dies when you try to accelerate.
You can update the original question with additional information. Thanks.
Checked all connections they look good replaced map sensor don't see or hear any vacuum leaks don't have clue what it is unless fuel pump is bad
Thanks for website MountainManJoe
No prob. Step #4 on the website was check fuel pressure.
That will tell you if fuel pump is bad or filter is clogged.
Yeah I don't know how to check fuel pressure just going take it to mechanic was hoping it was map sensor but it's a chrysler so no telling what it is with out proper tools or shop.
