I have a 2010 ford escape xlt, the check engine light stays solid and the transmission shifts hard, other times the engine light flashes and it runs fine. I need some help.
I changed my coil packs, spark plugs.

More details are needed. When you scanned for codes and live data what led you to believe those parts needed to be replaced? What codes are present? Fuel trims etc. look OK? Did the old spark plugs look normal or were they fouled? Have you checked air and fuel filters, and tested fuel pressure? When is the last time the transmission was serviced? A flashing engine light means "stop driving ASAP and fix the problem to prevent engine damage".
