I have a 1999 Honda Prelude . I got home from work. I lock the car up and til the next day when I was heading to work. I go and press the unlock button on the key fob and I see the car lights come on so I knew its unlocked but soon as I open the car door. The alarm goes off and once I shut the door it shut off after a few seconds. Did I accidentally set the door alarm? or does a low battery trigger the alarm? HELP! I wanna drive her so bad.

I don’t know the actual cause of your dilemma. I do remember having low car battery issues and the alarm randomly going off.
