Get some new band clamps, you stripped out the other screw.  You'll know pretty quickly if it's not connected or sealed properly.  CEL and codes will appear.

the tunnel or hose (acordeon shaped rubber tunnel) sits good on the throttle plate, but i dont think this extra tightening option is there for no reason, now im afraid to run the car, can i remove the gasket and use it as a spare from this screw? do i have to find a new gasket if it doesnt come out?
