Hello Everyone big fan of this website, I am looking to replace my mothers 2007 Nissan Pathfinder LE sport edition with 168900 miles on it she bought it sort of new from an middle eastern taxi guy in Brooklyn for 12000 dollars with 70500 miles on it. the guy used it as a weekend and trip vehicle for this family it was all good with it until the transmission started slipping and eventually needed to be replace at 132650 miles on it the job for the new transmission was 3200 dollars since then we only change the oil replace the air filter and tires when needed to be done now since watching scottys videos for about a year or so I wanted to replace my mothers SUV with a better one and here are my line up for her. The years I am looking for are from 2010 to 2016 model year and the vehicles within the those years are the Subaru accent Toyota Highlander Toyota 4Runner Honda Pilot and Lexus GX460. So which one would be a smart move to buy and I almost forgot to mention that my mother likes 3 row SUV. Your opinion would be much appreciated.
I would go with the Honda pilot its smaller, but sits high enough and it's easy to get in and out of. It's also easy to drive, parks easy and the option of all wheel drive if you get snow.
