- Hey Scotty I’ve been watching your videos for years I’m in a tough situation with my 2005 GMC Sierra 4.3 automatic transmission it has 140k miles and I’m getting low oil pressure on the dash unless I’m giving it gas it raises but drops to 0 at idle what’s your opinion have you dealt with this before

How long has the pressure been low?
Have you tried changing oil filters?

Is that reading from the dash gauge? If so double-check it with a mechanical gauge.
