Problem: I had a few drive cycles (both highway and city driving), at the end of each I did emissions tests (for the upcoming car registration renewal) using an OBDII simple scanner and a regular Android app (Car Scanner - in my case). All portions (11 in total) have passed except for Evaporative System. This portion of the test has not passed. The drive cycle is completed. The monitor is ready. No check engine light, no diagnostic trouble codes.
Question: What would you recommend me to do to make sure that all tests pass during the actual emissions test (DEQ Test)?
Car: Toyota Yaris 2007, automatic. 180k miles.
New gas cap? Is yours the original 15 year old cap?
No new gas cap. Yes, it is the original cap. Thanks for the tip. I will check it!
Update: I bought a Blue Driver OBD scan tool instead of the cheap one. The Blue Driver shows that all smog tests passed. I think the cheap scan tool has software issues. I am inclined to believe the Blue Driver more than the cheap scan tool.
