I now have a Land Rover discovery 2 and I'm not sure how to maintain it. Any help is welcome!
(not a great choice, I've already been told)
it is from 2002 and has 160,000 miles on it. I'm new to cars and I'm trying to learn more about them. I'd like to know what I should check on the car before it becomes an problem, or what major issues I should be aware of with this model of car.

If you have not already done so, have a qualified mechanic who is used to working on those cars check it out front to back, top to bottom. They have a lot that can go wrong and you want to at least catch the issues early.
Reliability past 100k on them is poor...I'd keep an eye out for literally anything. Don't like to tell you that, but that's the truth.
