I own a 07 Chevy Tahoe Lt , I noticed once a day at least on cold start or so there is a small motor mount like thump. (It's not the mounts, just a resemblance on sound.) I've assumed it was the ac compressor because I've left it on before turning off and my father said it could of been that. But I've had the AC off before and still heard the sound. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. The vehicle shifts fine. The spark plugs/wires , throttle body were replaced about a month ago. All things were reprogrammed till that noise happened and make the engine light go on only.
Scan the vehicle for codes and then go from there.

mine does that too, after every start I think. It's completely normal operation that is described in the owner's manual.
