Hey Scotty, at the time I'm texting this, I'm still trying to figure out what's happening to my 2018 Mazda BT-50 5 cylinder model 130k KM. The engine is really good but it's the transsmision that's crap. I think it's 6R80 or something like that. I just put it in reverse and it popped very loudly like stepping on a log or louder. I tried moving it anyway but I does not move, then i turned it off immediately after finding out that the e-brake is stuck. Tried to pull it up and it's really hard. Lately it's been having a torque converter problems and I think something came out of place. After a minute or so i put the key back in ignition and It popped again without the engine running. Please help! 🙏
Unless it's a busted drive axle it sound like you have serious transmission problems. It need to be diagnosed by a professional.
