Please please please can you help me I'm desperate with my 2015 Nissan Versa I have a Cota P0420 which as we all know it's catalytic converter but I don't know if that is for sure the problem I believe it is it s gas running rough and it's driving me crazy I don't have the money to put it in the shop I'm Batman stage 4 cancer I'm supposed to be in hospice but I find myself working on this car and I'm by no means a mechanic or do I own any tools other than your basic one from the Dollar Tree LOL is there anything you can do to give me tips on how to get a little more horsepower or how to check some vacuum lines which I know nothing about and how to make sure it's my catalytic converter is there something I can do and can I use lacquer thinner in my 2015 Nissan please help also I'm a really huge fan
Make sure the air filter is clean. Dirty air filter can cause lots of issues.
Yes check your air filter, as Carlos said, also you can google where the different parts are on your car. You might need to check the 02 sensors, but you need a special socket for that. They might need cleaning or replaced. Do you not have anyone that can help you?
will the carbon filter have anything to do with this?
