I got a question , I got a 1999 ram 1500 dodge v8 engine .. I was trying to drain my coolant but the bolt to drain the engine block are really hard to get them off and I rounded them .... ps I’m a beginner barely started doing “ do it myself car stuff”
I didn't even know there were coolant drain plugs on engine blocks.
I would just leave it alone. Remove the radiator hoses and flush out the block that way.
Look, if you’re a beginner, don’t do it by your self, go to a mechanic before you cause actual damage…
As far as things you can do: You can drill out the bolt, you can welt something to the head of the bolt or you can just avoid touching it at all.
There are other ways to remove a rounded bolt but first id have to see and feel the bolt’s condition.
