Firestone does have a complete inspection available and i was considering using that as a way to give myself peace of mind. Im really wanting this 2003 miata shinsen in manual transmission and while i know some basic car maintenance stuff but i am by no means an expert. I assume anything needed for the car could very easily be negotiated into the price of the car.
Also what is the price point generally going to be for something like this a 120 point inspection. I would assume at least $100 but that would be money well saved especially if it saves me some money on the overall price of the car.
I never recommend franchises! No good mechanic does. The 100.00 is a come on people say.lol they will usually find tons of things, that is where they make there money, some minor that don't need being done. Like slight seepage in valve cover especially in old car. Look for small shop that you find thru research and recommendations from friends.
Have any trusted indy shop do it. You need to raise the car to see if it’s a rust bucket and or have broken parts
