Scotty,
Is it bad to leave my car idling overnight while I sleep in it? I have kept up on all maintenance since I got it with about 105,000 miles, and it has been a pretty problem free car for the 70,000 miles I've had it. I adjust oil change intervals depending on how much time I spend idling. I do keep a CO detector in the vehicle with me. I've heard idling is bad for cams since they are splash lubricated and don't get lubricated very well at idle speed. What's your opinion?

well the cooling fans work it won't hurt the engine but you might end up getting carbon monoxide poison if the wind blows the wrong way
