2002 Dodge Ram 1500 single cab ignition broken. How do I replace ignition housing? Took out old ignition cylinder due to break in and vandalizing. Now that I got old cylinder out the new one does not fit inside because the insides are jammed. How do I replace the housing where the ignition cylinder goes into? Please help.

Well once people break that off it can be an absolute stinker because many parts can be broken inside and if it's one of those column shift lock interlock systems sometimes you end up having to buy half of the steering column assembly. But locksmiths are often pretty good you might call a locksmith and see if you can find a guy who will mess with something like that
