My friend gave me a 91 Dodge Ram 50, with papers for free.
240k miles
engine and trans seem to be fine
but whole ignition cylinder and switch and wire harness is gone
i can’t find the ignition switch online
can I make it work without it, to start it.
like what’s the minimum of stuff I need to be able to start it

What about an universal ignition switch?
I actually found it for $40 at autozone
Could I start it with just the ignition switch and not have to buy a whole ignition cylinder
I suggest you get a such one that allows disengaging the starter wheel after the engine starts running.

I found about 100 places online that sell these parts. What are you talking about?
