How to keep mice out of 2005 Honda Accord?

Topic starter

I live in country and keep getting field mice inside the cabin. How are the getting in so I can put a screen or rag or barrier to stop. They are bringing in sunflower seeds from bird feeder and I have to use mouse traps to catch them. My main concern is that they might get desperate and chew wires under dashboard. That is where they seem to come from as seed husks are on floor near front firewall. Any illustrations would be great. I watch you everyday religiously and share many of your videos.

I don't know anyone personally who has tried this product but it came up in a search and the product page has tips for keeping mice out:

Get some peppermint oil and spray it in the cab.  Mice hate peppermint oil.

How are the getting in

There should be no way for mice to get in (on a new car).

Either you have holes, or maybe they live inside already, and they just hide when you get in it and drive around.
