Hi Scotty! I hope you can help me on the issue with my 98 honda civic ex manual with fully rebuilt d16y8 97k miles My ignition switch is malfunctioning if I turn my key all the way off but I can able to remove the key though. My question is Do i need to replace the whole ignition inside together with my door locks because I’m very confuse it will be a different keys right?

Well that's just how goes you end up having to change the ignition switch for the car and then you'll have two different keys because you'll never be able to get door locks that match a new key anyway. But if you know a really good locksmith they can make your new ignition switch have a key that's the same as the one you already have by rekeying it
