I''m a 50yr old woman I have a 2013 Chevy sonic Sonic 1.8 and I need to put new fan and thermostat housing in but I need a list of tools that I'll need to fix it. Can you please give me a list of tools I may need thank you very much.
I don't know if you need any special tools for that specific model but in general to do that sort of work you would need the normal tools used in light auto repair jobs. That would be things like a 3/8" drive socket set with an assortment of extensions, wrenches, and screwdrivers. A work light would be helpful. Depending on where fasteners are located and access to them you may need wobble extensions or universal joints for the sockets. Usually when getting into almost any repair you'll find you'll need tools you did not anticipate.
