Is exact angle important when torquing head bolts?

I'm replacing lifters on a 2007 Chevy 1500 Silverado with a 5.3l

When torquing down heads how far off or how important is it to the get the angle of degrees within spec? Please this will help me a ton I get 45 is eigth  turn and 90 is qaurter turn and 180 is a half turn how close to i have to be to 35degree turn and 70degree turn should i buy a torque wrench with angling on it? Do I have to be exact thanxx!!!

Another possibility is you can get an inexpensive angle gaurge to make sure you're in spec. Works great as long as there's room to use it.
