Anyway, … I’m a retired mechanical engineer and a car enthusiast, … and my very own car mechanic. I started it all with my first car, ‘66 Ford Meteor Montcalm S-33. Got it used in 1968. Several cars after that: ‘76 Monte Carlo, ‘79 BMW 320i, ‘83VW Jetta, ‘97 Nissan Pathfinder, 2004 Miata, 2010 Honda Fit and CRV. Last three I still own, … plus there is a recent addition: 2019 RAV-4, Trail - Canadian model, … sort of like an Adventure in the U.S. My son owns it, … but I service it, too.

All those years, … and cars, and I’m one of those who never had to take any of the above cars to a car mechanic, or a repair shop - other than tires mounting and broken windshields.

And so, … I think, I can, just perhaps, help here a bit? Don’t know, … just asking.
