Hey Scotty, I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma 3.4L V6 4X4 is it worth putting in a new transmission they are charging me 4,200 for a new trans 291,200 Miles

They can last a long time but find out what he means by new if it's a brand new transmission go ahead but if it's a rebuilt you're being ripped off

He gave me the option to rebuild for 3,600. I'm looking to use this truck everyday and possibly go up the mountains on the weekends.
the trans slips around first gear after 15 mins of use. They changed the tran filter, it worked for a week but then it started slipping again
